An Overview of Atopic Dermatitis

The Brazilian AD Association (AADA) Symposium was held September 29 and 30 in São Paulo, Brazil. ISAD’s Secretary Andreas WOLLENBERG was one of the invited speakers along with Arturo BORZUTZKY from Chile, Heidi KONG and Peter LIO from the USA, and Yoko KATAOKA from Japan.
The meeting was attended by a large number of colleagues from Brazil, including dermatologists, allergist/immunologists, pediatricians and medical residents. Hopefully, this initiative will attract more colleagues from Brazil and Latin America to the field of AD.
