ISAD 2021 abstract deadline and format

Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,

We are getting started in the New Year, and celebrations are prudent because of the threat of a large winter toll in the northern hemisphere due to COVID 19. But there is still hope that normalization will occur in 2021 second semester, after a successful effort of vaccination.

ISAD 2021 Seoul

April 19 (Mon) ~ 20 (Tue), 2021

Our first important date, in less than 100 days, is our meeting which has been rescheduled as a hybrid meeting in Seoul, on April 19-20.

The meeting will be hybrid in two aspects, the audience, with local attendance in Dragon City plus international attendance using the best digital tools to allow live interaction, and in its program which will combines papers scheduled last year and new abstract submissions.

All abstracts should be re-submitted before February 22 (Mon), 2021, using a new template to allow publication at the time of the meeting in Acta DV, which was our historical Journal for the publication as supplements of the papers of the first Rajka symposia.

Acta DV has nearly completed the digitalization of this very interesting archive, which shows the axes of interest in AD at the end of the last millennium from the late 1970s until the early 1990s (see page).

By renewing your membership to ISAD Society by the end of january when our plaform will be ready (50 €), you will receive a coupon for a -35% discount upon ISAD 2021 Seoul meeting registration 🙂

ISAD research fellowship

The success of the first 2019 ISAD research fellowships generously endowed by Pfizer, despite the world pandemic (see page), is a good reason to increase our efforts in 2021, and a new call will be released in the first trimester of 2021, to allow we dearly hope the possibility of travel again by the second half of the year. In addition, a special research call will target sub-Saharan Africa, following our 2019 initiative.

Best wishes, keep safe!
